to_utc_timestamp


to_utc_timestamp(timestamp, timezone) – Given a timestamp like ‘2017-07-14 02:40:00.0’, interprets it as a time in the given time zone, and renders that time as a timestamp in UTC. For example, ‘GMT+1’ would yield ‘2017-07-14 01:40:00.0’.

Class: org.apache.spark.sql.catalyst.expressions.ToUTCTimestamp

More functions can be added to WhereOS via Python or R bindings or as Java & Scala UDF (user-defined function), UDAF (user-defined aggregation function) and UDTF (user-defined table generating function) extensions. Custom libraries can be added on via Settings-page or installed from WhereOS Store.
